Nose To Tails Pet Sitters was established in 2008 by me, Lynn Pottage.  After a career working with animals in a whole range of environments, I decided the time was right to start my own business in a field where I could excel and enjoy working to my own, high, standards.

I have worked professionally with animals for over 20 years. My experience covers a wide variety of species, although over the last six years whilst working for a national dog's charity, it has of course been mainly dogs. I love caring for all types of animals and I take their care as a personal responsibility. I try to make their time in my care as happy and as fun as possible.

In the quest to learn more about animals I have attended a variety training days, workshops and seminars in animal welfare, care and therapy. These courses have been invaluable in helping me gain a deeper understanding of animals, especially of how to help them on a physical and emotional level when dealing with the stress of being 'left behind' while their owners are away.
Leading on from this, I began training to become a Tellington Touch Practitioner. Tellington Touch is known as 'the touch that teaches'. It is a technique that enables animals to learn how to live in a more balanced, positive way and to have a deeper, more engaging relationship with their owners. I use this method to help me in my work every day.

My own dogs are the love of my life and I enjoy doing dog agility with them whenever I can find the time. In the past I have travelled all over the country competing in agility competitions at local and national level. I have been training dogs for over 20 years for a variety of things including agility, obedience and sheep work, and for behavioural problems.
Whenever I get the chance I love to go to sheepdog trials and watch the collies doing the work they were born to do.
